Description:

Handy tool for quickly and effectively determining the correct saw chain length.
This template can be used to quickly determine the required number of drive links for saw chain rolls and the chains cut to length from them, which helps to speed up the work process.
Thanks to the self-adhesive back, the template can be attached directly to the work surface/workbench.
Resistant to dirt and oil thanks to the laminated surface.

1/4"; .325"; 3/8"; .404"

Working with the cutting template:
Take the saw chain roll to be processed and place it on the right-hand side of the work surface
Unroll the saw chain and fix the end (first drive link) to the steel pin.
Determine the required number of drive links on the template and mark, e.g. with a felt-tip pen.
Please note: For a 3/8” saw chain, for example, the scale on the template starts from the 32nd drive link.

Assembly notes:

Choose a large, flat work surface according to the size of the template.
Please note: To ensure optimum adhesion, the work surface should be clean and free of dust and grease.
Position the left-hand outer edge (vertical red bar) of the template approx. 300 mm from the left-hand edge of the work surface.
To securely fix the saw chain, mount four steel pins on the outermost left-hand edge of the work surface.
The steel pins should be horizontally aligned with the four pitch sizes 1/4", .325" and 3/8" .404".
